Roof Replacement on Cornwallis Rd

Cornwallis Rd in Garner is a steep-gabled Cape Cod home in white siding with black shutters, set on a wooded lot with a tall brick chimney rising at the right end. Steep pitches like this take an experienced crew, the courses have to lay flat across a long uninterrupted plane. We installed 20 squares of CertainTeed Landmark in Moire Black. The deep black reads beautifully against the white siding and gives this classic silhouette the kind of dramatic finish its steep roofline was made for. Total project: $8,200, completed June 2025.
