Roof Replacement on Council Gap

Council Gap in Cary gave us a two-story white home with one of the most layered rooflines we see, at least four front-facing gables stepping across the elevation, plus a three-bay garage and a covered front porch. The challenge here was making sure each of those gables read cleanly without any of them stealing focus. We installed 42 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ in Charcoal, working through the valleys and step flashing carefully. The dark shingle anchors all that white siding and lets the layered gables do their job. The home now reads composed, not busy. Total project: $15,920, completed December 2025.
