Roof Replacement on Stoneleigh Dr

The brick colonial on Stoneleigh Dr in Cary is the kind of home that earns its roof. Three crisp front-facing dormers, a strong center gable, and a chimney rising along the left elevation make every line visible from the street. We tore down the old shingles, prepped the deck across all those dormers and valleys, and installed 33 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ in Pewter Gray. The result is what a colonial like this calls for, a roof that holds the architecture rather than fighting it, with clean, even lines across each dormer face. Total project: $15,675, completed February 2026.
