Roof Replacement on Lasater Rd

Lasater Rd in Dunn is a beautiful two-story southern-style home with a full-width covered front porch, three front-facing gable dormers, and white columns running the length of the elevation. A roof with this many dormer transitions and a steep main pitch has to be installed with patience, every dormer cheek and valley flashed clean before the field shingles go on. We tore everything down to the deck and laid out 24 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ in Weathered Wood. The warm tones complement the white siding and the wooded rural setting, finishing a home that already had real architectural presence. Total project: $6,885, completed October 2024.
